We'll start with the good news, the ice plant is back up and running and the Arena Staff are working hard to get the ice back for us.
The bad news is that we will not likely have ice until the evaluation weekend, which means we are limited for what we can offer for tune up skates.
We have been offered some ice from the U11 and U13 girls who were running some of there own tune ups in Aberdeen as well as some ice at the Jemini from Jon Barkman and the Huskies program. This ice time is very limited and we'll do our best to fit everyone in that wants to attend.
Registration is open for these tune up skates. We ask that you only sign up for two sessions to start and if we need to fill spots we'll open it up further for those interested. We will be looking for some volunteers to help run the skates as well, so please reach out if you can help out on the ice.
Please keep in mind this is going to be less than ideal in terms of what we normally offer, and we will potentially have a wide range of age and skill levels in each session, but given the circumstances we hope everyone understands.
