Regular Season Home Ice Schedule (tentative)
Our regular season schedule is tight this year, and as you can see there are a few things that are different than previous seasons. Here’s the Coles notes:
- On Wednesday you will note that we have defined the flood times for the U13 and U18 game slots to have one flood every two periods that SMHA requires, this allows us to start the U18 games in accordance with all SMHA game requirements.
- On Thursday the U13 and U9 start times will be adjusted based on whether or not there is a U13 game that day to try and get the U9's a later start time and open up some after school slots for teams or others who may want to book ice after school.
- U9’s can decide to share the ice at the teams discretion to have later start times, these ice slots on Thursday will be rotated to alter the early start times if U9 teams choose not to share the ice.
- We have included a provision to rotate the U18 time slots between Friday and Wednesday to give the U18 groups some flexibility on the Friday ice slot and share the late start time on Wednesday when there is a U13 game.
- With all of the teams we have this year, we are down to 1 hour practice time slots on Sunday in all age groups and this only fits with a flood after every 2nd practice and ice being shared on Sundays for U7/U9/U11 groups.
